A Carrier Network Built for Heavy Equipment Transportation
The transportation sector that moves heavy equipment is not the same sector that moves consumer goods. Heavy equipment transport requires carriers with the right equipment, the experience to handle inoperable or non-standard units, and the documentation discipline to maintain chain of custody from pickup through final delivery. National Retrieval Solutions has spent years building a vetted national network of carriers who meet those requirements. Our network spans all 50 states and is composed of operators with experience in heavy-duty wreckers, lowboy transport, tilt-deck and rollback recovery, double-drop and gooseneck configurations for oversized equipment, and marine transport rigs capable of moving boats and watercraft of all sizes.

Every carrier in our network goes through a rigorous onboarding process before receiving their first assignment. We verify active USDOT and MC numbers in good standing, confirm equipment capability against the asset classes we regularly handle, and require current certificates of insurance at minimums appropriate for commercial collateral. But onboarding is not a one-time gate. National Retrieval Solutions monitors carrier compliance daily — insurance certificates, DOT status, and performance records are reviewed on an ongoing basis. A carrier whose insurance lapses or whose DOT authority becomes inactive does not receive active assignments until the issue is resolved. This protects us and our clients from the kind of exposure that comes from working through brokers or networks that do not monitor their carriers after initial vetting.
Coverage Without Limits
One of the persistent challenges in heavy equipment transport is rural coverage. When the transport assignment includes a piece of agricultural equipment in a rural county or a construction asset at a remote project site, the pickup window is limited and the logistics are complex. Our network is built with geographic density in mind — including coverage in regions where standard auto transport carriers have limited presence. Whether the pickup is from a port in Louisiana, an impound yard in rural Montana, or a marina on the Chesapeake Bay, National Retrieval Solutions has a qualified carrier available.
